If the incident occurred in Jackson County, We also recommend filing a report with the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office Use Of Force Unit here. This is a special unit that only deals with prosecuting police officers. We do not currently recommend filing a complaint with the KCPD Office of Community Complaints.
